Welcome! I'm Jacob Carr, also known to many as "Mr. Carr on the Web.” My educational journey spans over a decade as a teacher, where I've embraced both traditional and forward-thinking teaching methodologies spanning grades 1-12. Holding a California teaching credential, an international Waldorf certificate, and Google Certified Educator status, I'm passionate about making learning more impactful, efficient, and joyful.

Beyond the classroom, my work includes authoring, consulting, and presenting on educational topics. I'm currently crafting the EduProtocols Field Guide: ELA edition and have been recognized as the 2020 CUE BOLD Educator of the Year for my contributions to blended and online learning.

My commitment to education extends beyond the traditional settings. I host workshops and speak at events both in the USA and internationally, working closely with EduProtocols and facilitating summer academies in locations like Laguna Beach, CA, and the University of Notre Dame, Indiana. My collaboration with the Successful Practices Network, alongside Dr. Bill Daggett and Ray McNulty, focuses on integrating AI into education from kindergarten to university levels.

I'm also the co-host of the award-winning podcast, "What Teachers Have to Say," available on Spotify, Apple, and other podcast outlets. This platform allows me to share insights, experiences, and the voices of educators from various backgrounds, further enriching the educational discourse.

When not engaged in professional endeavors, I relish time spent with my family, exploring literature, art, and the great outdoors. My personal life grounds and enriches my professional pursuits, offering a well-rounded perspective on education.
